The blog this week is about a somewhat newer restaurant to the Waterford area:
Square One Eats & Treats, which is on Walton Blvd just east of Dixie Highway.
This is my second visit to this restaurant that opened right around 2 years ago. Upon entering the restaurant we were promptly greeted with a smile by the hostess and off to our seats we went. Our server also greeted us with a smile and asked us what we would like to drink. On a side note, the restaurant just received its liquor license. After bringing our drinks it was time to order. No appetizers this time, straight to the entree. My girlfriend ordered Vegetarian Alfredo, our friend ordered the Chicken Piccata and I had the Chicken Fettuccine. The meals all came with a delicious salad and I ordered a bowl of french onion soup that was absolutely delicious. All of our dishes were incredible. You could taste the fact that the noodles are all homemade, which of course makes a huge difference.
Now, I am sure this has happened to you before. You are sitting there eating and there is this patron, not too far from you, that cannot stop raving about what he is eating, making you want to go over and just steal his dish! Well that happened to me, except I didn’t steal his dish. But the dish was lasagna, so I can tell you the next time I go to Square One Eats & Treats, I am definitely ordering the lasagna!
I encourage you to try this place. It will not disappoint.
