This Tuesday’s blog will be a review about none other then the staple that sits at the corner of Scott Lake Rd & Dixie Highway in Waterford: Franks-A-Lot
Franks-A-Lot has been at the corner of Scott Lake Rd & Dixie Highway for many years, always serving up some of the best breakfast, lunch and dinner, not to mention the best homemade soups too.
Upon entering the diner you are always greeted by the friendliest waitstaff around. They are always there to make you feel at home.
Behind the counter cooking is the owner, who takes pride in everything he cooks. Very seldom do you find an owner behind the grill cooking, but to me that also shows dedication and pride in his creations.
Now on to why this place has contributed to me looking nine months pregnant. Okay maybe 7 months, but getting there.
On the menu you will find homemade soups and entrees that are made by the owner’s wife and the staff.
Not only am I here to review the restaurants I visit, but with Franks-A-Lot I am here to suggest a couple of dishes that I have had that are absolutely incredible! Number one – all of the soups, particularly the broccoli and cheese soup. Second, which is not always on the menu is homemade (not store bought) cabbage rolls, that make me wish I had two stomachs, so I could enjoy two orders! One order is large enough for my one stomach.
All the portions are plenty and delicious and will have you coming back for more.
If you have not visited this awesome diner, I encourage you to do so. You will not be disappointed!
